Bits, Bobs and Purple

Had a nice big post typed up and then the internet died and I lost it.

SO basically, been a week of doing lots of bits and bobs. Got the engine in easily. Nearly amputated my hand using a headlamp trim and a polishing wheel. Dipped the old steels in a bath of pH13++++ Caustic Soda = good bye old paint :). Filler primer struggling to stick to red oxide on the wheels for some bizzare reason = :(. Currently rocking ridiculous 5 1/2inch race tyres and rims awaiting proper wheels and tyres.

Hopefully be heading to ignition and MOT early next week as going away for a few days.

Piccys:

Headlamp trim (thankfully spare) having gone round my hand at high speed a few times.... not so round

Hand Day 2

Clean Wheels

Goodridge brake hoses

Clean gearbox containing gears of a ratio somewhere between normal and close ratio....
