Another year...

Funny old year.

Made good progress to April stripping down and getting ready to tidy up the last jobs, then everything stopped whilst got some professional exams out the way.

Now back in action, but weathers too cold and humid to spray the paint so just getting everything ready for the spring when will be time to bring it all together.

Things been up to:

Gearbox back on the engine and ready to be re-transplanted

Designed myself and fabricated by the great guys over @Brookfab (https://brookfab.co.uk/) in Ireland: one custom oil catch tank for the 948. With a 3rd intake if need be for a breather off the mechanical fuel pump take off blanking plate.

New central console designed for additional gauges, battery cut off, switches and to move the fusebox and relays to a more accessible position away from the drivers knee! Fabricated in 8mm MDF and ally brackets, dsuz fasteners for the side panels for easy access. Just need the electrics running and drilling now.

Lots of body prep work all over the car ready for a respray.

Been very lucky to get lots of lovely new tools for birthday and Christmas.

Bring on 2019 and hopefully back on the road soon!
