Plonker, Painting and Packing Away
A lot of time been spent compounding and polishing the paint job which is now looking great.
However, Plonker here forgot to check the propshaft would go into the new bushing in the back of the gearbox. You guessed it, it doesn't, doh! Will need removing and reaming again.
Had some interesting visitors in the garage including a young woodpecker getting a bit lost for a bit...
Was hoping to be slightly further ahead but some dodgy thinners resulted in a few days lost restriping the bonnet and repainting.
For now I am off on an adventure on the other side of the world for 6 months so the car is going into hibernation to let the paint cure properly and then I will get it all bolted back together from next February, ready for the road next summer.....Maybe?
