Catching Up

So life went all a bit busy and then I left the country for 2 months but the car progressed up until I disappeared.

Dragged her out the other weekend for a warm up again but otherwise I'm back 200 miles away and she sits until the Summer to come out to play again.

Might as well update some pics and vids:

So she moved:

and left my brother laughing hysterically (god the mic on that phone makes us sound like 14 year olds!)

She then passed her MOT (failed first time due to windscreen scratches and some brake adjustments)

and then went for a little drive:

A few issues where had with fueling (float levels where completely off: a mistake in  manual we where using! Early HS2s with brass floats are a little different to the later plastic float ones)

And then some issues with the rear brakes locking in (a worn adjuster on the passenger side) followed by bad weather and the rest of life getting involved meant she went away until the start of March when she came out to play and fired up a beauty. Still a big list of jobs to do: Trim, tidy electrics some more, seat belts, hardtop, more tuning (needs a rolling road session and probably some different needles and maybe a tamer cam...)

But at least she's looking lovely...
